Offshore Wind Denmark
Special Edition 2015

March 2015

This year’s Offshore Wind Denmark magazine was published in connection with the world’s largest wind energy conference and exhibition EWEA Offshore 2015 in Bella Center Copenhagen.

In connection with EWEA Offshore 2015 the Danish Wind Industry Association and Offshorenergy.dk found it important to emphasize Denmark’s unique position within offshore wind. Everyday it is proven that it is possible to integrate large amounts of wind energy, and it is continuously shown that offshore wind is an important and effective way for countries to achieve a higher degree of independence related to imports of energy.

The message of the Offshore Wind Denmark publication was targeted executive managers and experts in the Danish and foreign offshore wind energy industry. Political decision makers and opinion leaders as well as foreign investors and companies with an interest in Danish wind energy.

The message of Offshore Wind Denmark was communicated in a 64-page high-end print magazine – printed in environmentally friendly paper. For this magazine, it was essential to put strong forces into the editorial content as well as the visual work. By using a fifth pantone colour and a strong UV coating the magazine obtained a strong visual feel and look. With a targeted distribution to specific Danish target groups and furthermore international guests at EWEA Offshore 2015 in Copenhagen, a total of +40.000 copies were distributed at events, by direct mail and packages, at the Copenhagen Airport, at a large number of hotels in Copenhagen and Esbjerg, as well as to opinion forming stakeholders and a vast part of members of science and education segments. This magazine takes you on a voyage through Denmark’s unique offshore wind seascape.
